Foremost wish all of you who celebrate a Happy Halloween and Diwali!
Got feedback from the manufacturer that the J1B will be available to ship in the end of November (the delay is caused by the production of the silicone O-rings). Shipping from China to NY/USA via ocean will take about 30-60 days (January - February time frame). An expensive alternative for those who want it ASAP is to ship via 4-day air -- we would just ask for a proactive "yes" by contributing $1 for air shipment from China (it costs a lot more...which will be covered by us).
Most of you completed the Backerkit survey -- will be sending an additional email in the next 2 weeks to invite you to look over it and make any changes -- if you want more bottles, request the $1 fast tracked air shipping, update your address if it changed. Remember this process will only bill your card if you order anything extra than what was requested on Kickstarter, if you dont order anything it will still ask for your credit card but you wont be billed you can skip filling it in (its just how that platform works).
A kind reminder that all US orders will be shipped for free and international orders the pricing will be there on the survey so you know the costs (should be $15-$30 for international freight and duties).

thank you for your trust & backing. We are moving along on many fronts -- branding, creating digital content and off course the actual J1B product.
On the production side - you know that leakage was an issue we looked to fix (did fix and then it came back) -- we are happy to announce that it has been fixed-- with a very cool and improved top. The earlier versions were just as cool (quality of material) - but this one really has been perfected, not only does it solve the leakage but open and locks wider than the 180 degrees to give you instant single push button access (improved spring recoil force and ending flip cap lock at full extension).
The improvement we are looking to make now is to make the rubbers between the glass bottle and the thermos a drop wider to have a snugger fit. The video will provide a behind the scenes. Note this issue is secondary as when the bottle is built with the flip cap it is a solid feel as if the glass and the thermos were one. However, when you remove the flip cap you can sense tiny movement between the glass an thermos -- not a major issue but one we are looking to perfect. As our first intro to product design we want to make sure you are happy and feel the sense of quality and dedication we are placing on the J1B. The timeline (a lot is not in our hands) but fair to say it will be November (hopefully not December, but should be no later than December).
