Shipping to Asia Backers Has Begun - should arrive this or next week!

Dear Backers --

just a heads up that if you see incoming charges is due to the international shipping and VAT charges (non-US backers only).  If you incurred costs prior --  these were for add-on items and NOT for shipping.  The shipping and VAT charge was capped at $20 -- any charge above that will be incurred on our end.  

US-based delivery backers - your shipping is free (expected arrival in May, see below).

The Asia-based backers will receive your J1B this or next week, as these were shipped directly from the manufacturer to minimize costs and shipment time.  

Everyone else (non-Asia), the freight is scheduled to come in the end of April to NYC and from there it will be shipped to you to be received sometime in May.  Will keep you posted with any updates.

Thank you so much for your backing.  The product is on its way to NYC! It is set to arrive around April 25th will keep you updated.  In the meantime let me share with you a video of the 2 bottle they airshipped for sampling.

Cant wait to have them iin NY and ready to ship to you!

Dear Backers --

Foremost -- thank you for your patience and for backing us!  Happy to finally announce that the J1B production has left the manufacturer and is on the way to the freight forwarder!!  The freight forwarder has the  shipment leaving China on 3/18 and arriving to our NYC location around 4/25.  

Will keep everyone updated.

Pertaining the shipping costs for the non-US deliveries and the backers who made additional purchases post the KS campaign - I will now proceed with the charges that were placed on our last survey (in Backerkit) a few months ago; so please be aware when you see those charges come through in the coming days.  Again, this is only for the backers who ordered additional products and for the non-US shipments -- the rest wont see any charges as it was all covered in the KS campaign.

Super excited to finally have the completed product and we apologize for the much prolonged delay--Can't wait to get the product to you!

Dear Backers-

Foremost wanted to wish you and your family a Happy Holidays!

Also wanted to take the opportunity to provide an update - The leakage problem has been resolved and we are still on track to receive the bottle in February, the shipment is now estimated to depart China in mid-January and arrive in NYC in mid/late February.  Will send an additional update when is at sea to confirm dates.  

Also for our backers that are into metal composition, I believe this question was asked once -- the thermos is made of SS304 (also known as 18/8 stainless steel) which is food grade and the typical metal for higher-end metal water bottles.
